WPC outdoor fence is an outdoor enclosure product made of wood plastic composite, widely used for boundaries and zoning in gardens, courtyards, residential communities, villas, parks and commercial landscapes. It is also known as wood plastic composite fence, WPC fencing, WPC composite fencing and garden fence.

The boards are composed of 40% PE, 40% calcium powder, 5% wood powder and 15% other additives, and are formaldehyde-free. PE forms the matrix and provides toughness, calcium powder improves strength and dimensional stability, wood powder delivers a colour and texture close to natural timber, and the remaining additives improve processing and consistency. The finished surface shows a wood-like grain and can be coordinated in tone and line with matching WPC wall panels and decking for a unified outdoor style.

The product is a complete fencing system rather than a single board: the fence panels form the face, posts provide support and segmentation, post bases and expansion bolts connect to the ground, U-shaped brackets fix panels to posts, post caps finish the top of each post, and matching screws are supplied with the goods. All five component types are designed as one system, so no additional hardware is needed on site to complete everything from post fixing to panel installation, resulting in neat lines and a consistent structure.

Two structural generations are available. Both use a panel-and-post assembled structure with the same specification system, and can be selected according to project positioning, appearance preference and budget.

The specification system is clear: all panels are 20mm thick, with widths of 150mm, 161mm and 195mm, a standard length of 1800mm that can be customized for projects, and weights from about 2.2kg/m to 2.45kg/m. Different widths create different levels of openness and enclosure – narrower panels give a lighter, more open rhythm suited to gardens and landscape boundaries, while wider panels cover more area and offer better privacy for residential communities, villas and street-facing boundaries. The weight per meter helps estimate post spacing, shipping weight and foundation loads at the design stage.

In application, WPC fencing suits both residential and commercial settings. Residential projects typically include garden boundaries, courtyard zoning, villa enclosures and balcony parapets; commercial projects include landscape enclosures for hotels and guesthouses, zoning for parks and industrial campuses, boundaries for parks and municipal green belts, and outdoor spaces that need to match WPC wall panels and decking. Fences can be combined with posts, bases and caps into straight runs, or configured with corner posts and different panel widths to create corners, sections and height changes.

Maintenance is simple: the composite material requires no painting or anti-rot treatment, and surface dirt can be rinsed off with clean water or wiped with a damp cloth. It avoids the cracking and rot issues common to solid timber, keeping long-term maintenance costs low.

Installation follows a sequence of setting out, fixing posts and mounting panels: first determine post centers according to panel length and pull a horizontal reference line so the whole run is straight and level; on concrete, fix post bases with stainless steel expansion bolts, while on soil dig holes about one third of the post length, add gravel as a drainage layer, insert the post and pour concrete, checking verticality; then install the panels and U-shaped brackets, and finally fit the post caps. Avoid water pooling at the base, and choose hot-dip galvanized steel for the inner liner tube to prevent rust in long-term outdoor use.

Panels are packed in inner cartons with optional outer pallets for long-distance transport. Each pack contains 5 pieces, with 20GP loading of about 3700–4850 pieces and 40HQ of about 6230–6940 pieces; exact figures are available per specification to help with container and freight planning.
